The purpose of this Privacy Shield Notice (the “Notice”) is to provide further information on how Parsable, Inc. complies with the Privacy Shield program. This Notice should be read in conjunction with Parsable’s Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), which is available at This Notice only applies to the extent that we collect or process personal information related to your activities within the EU or Switzerland (“Information”). Even if we do not collect or process EU Information, the Privacy Policy still applies.


Privacy Shield Principles

Parsable complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework Principles as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (the “Privacy Shield Principles”) regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States.  Parsable has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms of the Privacy Policy, this Notice and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Independent Recourse

We have further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please visit for more information or to file a complaint. The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you.

If your complaint concerns human resources Information that was collected in the context of the employment relationship, please contact your local data protection authority (“DPA”). We commit to cooperate with such DPA and comply with the advice given by such DPA with regard to human resources data.



If you are unable to resolve your complaint after contacting Parsable and pursuing Independent Recourse, you may be eligible to participate in binding arbitration. Please refer to Annex I of the Privacy Shield Principles for more details.

Parsable’s compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission.
